- 2 x 8 ounce Wild Alaskan King Salmon fillets, skin on
- kosher salt
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- PREP: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat a skillet over medium high heat. Pat the Salmon dry and season both sides with salt.
- COOK: Sear salmon flesh side down, pressing down lightly for a few seconds, leave until golden. (The fish will release itself when it is ready to flip, 1-2 minutes) flip and repeat. Remove from pan once both sides have developed nice color and place on baking sheet and cook in oven for 4-8 minutes or cooked through.
- SERVE: Serve the salmon with wedges of lemon squeezed over right before enjoying. The nice thing about a dish this simple is that pairing options are endless…roasted veggies, sautéed cauliflower, garlicy spinach, a simple salad with a lite dressing, grilled sweet potatoes…want me to keep going! With a dish like this, using just a few ingredients, you really get to taste and experience the beauty and quality of the fish.
